Deana Kardel helps executive leaders achieve their maximum potential through strategic planning, one-on-one coaching, and executive dispute resolution.

Drawing upon 30 years of business, marketing, and dispute resolution experience in executive level positions, Kardel knows how to design and implement effective programs that realize the client’s goals. She has a proven track record of maximizing the capabilities and strengths of the firm and individuals with whom she works.

Before founding Eos in 2008, Deana served as the Regional Vice President for JAMS, the largest mediation and arbitration company worldwide. During those years, she led the firm’s strategic business development plan that fostered the company’s dramatic growth. As a part of her leadership and operational responsibilities, she recruited, trained and shadowed the Region’s mediators/arbitrators while supervising and mentoring her team of senior level managers throughout multiple offices.

In the mid 1990’s, Kardel built the Client Relations Department for Littler Mendelson from scratch. The firm is now known as one of the nation’s largest employment and labor law firms. In additional to her legal specialization, she served as a Vice President at a San Francisco based public relations agency and a Director of Sales and Marketing in the telecommunications field.

Kardel’s unique approach combines leadership, operations, human relations, communications, and business development into a strategic plan. With a straightforward understanding of cultural environments she knows how to shape and implement programs that foster positive change, revenue growth, and professional satisfaction.

Kardel is a dynamic and motivational leader and speaker and regularly presents to firms and organizations on leadership, communication, and executive dispute resolution topics. She has authored numerous published articles, is featured in the Book entitled, Mastering the Art of Success, and is often quoted in the legal press. In past years she held various board positions for the Legal Marketing Association, both nationally and regionally. She also served as the Executive Director for the Women in Law Empowerment Forum and Board Member for Rarecat Society.

Kardel earned her M.B.A. in Marketing from Golden Gate University and her B.A in Political Science from Michigan State. She earned an ICC coaching certification from New Ventures West, her mediation skills from JAMS and Rosenberg Mediation, is Myers-Briggs certified and is trained in Neuro-Linguistic Processing.
